NG, HOI CHING CHRISTY

 

 

Christy (b. 1997, Hong Kong), a young artist studying at Birmingham City University BA (Hons) Fine Art right now.  Christy uses documentary photography to explore complex social issues that draw on her own family background and personal experiences. The intention is to open up a dialogue with her audience, allowing them to reflect on their own relationships and position within society. Her current work explores tattooing culture and the clichéd reactions it generates within Chinese society.

As a person who living in a electronics device world, I enjoy taking photos of my daily life, using my angles to captures the things around me.

I love to use black and white to be the color of my art making because I love the way black and white can have different feeling to each of the audience.
